    Sales Associates for Growing Company in the Energy Conservation Industry – For offices in Dallas and Chicago

    One of our excellent companies in the energy conservation industry is growing and adding to the sales team. We are looking for go-getters that want to build themselves an outstanding sales career. The Sales Associate position is responsible for developing new business opportunities to achieve individual sales objectives. The main objective of the Sales Associate position is to train and develop to be promoted to the next level of Sales Engineer.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Cold Calls prospects and supports Sales Engineers in prospecting and developing new business.
    • Generates new business and leads on an ongoing basis.
    • Quotes prices, credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
    • Works with customers to create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
    • Proactively builds a strong customer network to increase sales potential and meet sales goals.
    • Owns efficacy of the sales process from start to finish and with a sense of urgency.
    • Utilizes CRM to track activity and move business through the pipeline and sales process.
    • Works to find new sales leads through business directories, client referrals, etc.
    • Collects sales data to track effectiveness of outreach efforts and changes approach to improve results.

    Education & Experience

    • Associate degree (A. A.); or 2 plus years working in a sales type position.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
    • Has solid computer skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.
