    Job Description

West Coast Dance Explosion has recently relocated its center of operations to the Twin Cities area and is seeking an Office Manager to complete its core team of administrators!

Founded in 1996, West Coast Dance Explosion is one of North America’s most electric dance conventions and competitions. With its education first approach, WCDE engages dance studios across the country with high energy events in 14 markets between the months of November and May, with a final culminating summer event in Orlando, FL at the conclusion of the regional season.

The Office Manager is a crucial member of the WCDE team—working alongside our team leads in the preparation and execution of all pre and post event operations. From processing travel itineraries and reimbursement requests to ensuring our road team has the tools to execute their jobs, the WCDE Office Manager is someone who gets great satisfaction in making events sail smoothly. While the majority of the Office Manager’s job will take place in our Golden Valley office, every WCDE team member is present at a select number of cities during our tour to allow for greater understanding of event operations and clientele. Our summer finals event is an “all hands on deck” experience where our full staff assembles in a week of celebration and team work for nearly 1,000 students from all over the country.

If you’re someone who is interested in making a difference in young artist’s lives and who lives by the phrase “teamwork makes the dream work”— we want to see your resume!
