Position Overview

Perform sales function for new and existing accounts. Provide quality and efficient customer service, with professional demeanor, for internal and external customers, by utilizing in-depth knowledge of company products and programs.

General Responsibilities

• Contact customer by phone and email concerning new orders, existing orders, sales returns, shipments, products and quotes
• Process sales orders, and maintain open quotes and orders
• Work closely with the Credit Department on establishing credit limits, and resolve disputes with customers
• Provides sales support of Will Call and Counter Sales, and Outside Sales Reps
• Attend and actively participate in Sales Meetings and provide any required reporting
• Provide timely and accurate information to new and existing customers when requested, using product and application knowledge
• Partner with outside sales representatives to meet and exceed customer service expectations

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent
• Team oriented
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Prior customer service/manufacturing industrial tech experience a plus
• Product and/or industry knowledge preferred, but not required
