    Job Description

    Construction/Landscape/Sprinkler Repair company is seeking professional, go-getter to manage and dispatch service calls. Position is full time, Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.

    We are a small office looking for a team player willing and able to work outside the box and work toward the common goal; customer satisfaction and company growth.

    Primary duties of the dispatcher include: Answer all incoming phone calls including real time scheduling/dispatching of jobs using web based dispatch system.

    Direct and schedule work for sprinkler repair technicians.

    Meet and direct technicians each morning.

    Process daily paperwork monitoring for accuracy, analysis of productivity, and improvements needed.

    Accurately and timely process daily technician productivity reports and customer billing information. Customer service.

    Misc research of parts, equipment, vehicles, etc.

    Misc. clerical/project duties.

    Skills necessary for position: Excellent customer service.

    Must be computer literate with an intermediate to advanced ability to use Microsoft products such as Excel, Word and Google apps Drive, Documents, Gmail, Calendar, Social Media.

    Must possess the ability to learn new software quickly and have the desire to expand knowledge and create streamlined processes as needed.

    Solid communication skills both written and verbal.

    Familiarity with the geography of San Diego and ability to logically schedule daily routes for drive time efficiency.

    Ability to communicate with and manage multiple and wide ranging personalities.

    Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

    Able to retain and recall job and customer specific information.

    Work under general supervision with a team member attitude.

    Ability to manage heavy phones at times.

    Understanding of irrigation/plumbing systems or the desire to learn for the benefit of the position.

    Our dispatcher must possess these qualities: superior customer service, detail oriented and highly organized, able to manage a constantly changing calendar of work for our field technicians with the ability to remember where they are going, when and why as well as follow up on pending jobs and customer issues.
