We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Studio Engineer to join our team! You will be working out of our Los Angeles studio with our VP Production for North America to help deliver audio of the highest possible quality for our monthly album delivery deadlines and for custom briefs.

Role responsibilities:

• Responsible for mixing all catalogue and custom projects that come through the LA studio

• Creating alternative mix versions for releases

• Editing cutdowns of tracks, such as 30 second, link and sting versions

• Printing the final approved mixes, alt versions and stems on projects before mastering

• Assisting with the mastering and quality checking process, including denoising in RX

• Acting as the bridge between Production and the Studio by taking delivery of composer-delivered stems for mixing

• Taking ownership of prepping stems for mixing, whilst referencing the composer's reference mix and QCing

• General studio assistant tasks, including system and plugin management and project/system backups

• Tape-opping on recording sessions

• Engineering recording sessions

• Other duties as assigned

Candidate qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as mix engineer

• Experienced recording engineer

• Experienced Pro Tools user

• Experience with Izotope RX

• Proficient Mac user

• Ability to troubleshoot and address unplanned challenges

• Ability to understand the goals for each project and meet the creative challenge

• Detailed oriented

• Musical score literate **
