Medical Malpractice Defense firm seeking a full-time Litigation Associate with Medical Malpractice experience. Candidate must be self-motivated and detailed-oriented . We are a very busy, fast-paced firm based out of Newport Beach. Responsibilities: • Draft, process, and present legal briefs and motions • Conduct research and assess legal issues • Prepare for trial proceedings • Prepare discovery responses • Interview witnesses and cross-examination • Trial experience a plus, but not required. • Manage existing caseload • Take and defend depositions • Legal research and writing Qualifications: • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the California State Bar • Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills • Possess strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills • Have experience with pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings in a medical malpractice case setting • Have the ability to work collaboratively and be a team player • Be motivated to learn and be open to growth opportunities. • Candidate must be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure. • Must be able to communicate with clients in a timely manner Compensation: $115,000 - $200,000 yearly
