ORGANIZATIONAL POSITION
As a Human Resource Business Partner, you will report to the Director of Human Resources and will oversee an HR Generalist. You will work closely with local leadership and employees throughout all branch locations that are in your assigned region.
KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
As the Human Resource Business Partner, you are the link between the local branches or facilities you support and the Human Resource Department. You will work semi-autonomously to support the employee life cycle in your specified branch locations. In this capacity, you will provide HR guidance to local management and help resolve complex employee engagement issues. Occasionally, this will require you to conduct thorough and objective investigations. You will be a strategic HR asset to managers and employees at every branch, directly supporting their success.
You must maintain a deep level understanding of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employment to reduce legal risks and ensure compliance. You will provide guidance to front-line managers to help them coach, develop, and discipline their employees when necessary. This is critical to ensure employees and managers have strong working relationships, branches have high morale, high productivity, and high retention. You will be the advising subject matter expert for all HR related matters in your branches. This will be critical to our operational success in the region.
You will provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to local branches or facilities, especially when new policies are created and need implemented at the local level. You will provide input on workforce planning during site visits at your local branches or facilities, including discussion on succession planning, training needs, and HR process compliance. You must analyze monthly termination data and Personal Effectiveness Appraisal compliance at each location, and report trends to leadership, implementing action plans when needed. Your job as the HRBP is to ensure your branch locations have the necessary plans in place to follow policies, retain labor, and keep employees engaged. Tracking and analyzing these trends are critical for long-term employee retention and overall employee engagement. You will also work to support your HR team in accordance with our standard Managerial Leadership Practices.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
As an HRBP, you should take ownership of all your locations ensuring they are following all HR policies and all work relationships are functioning at a high level. You will need to be attentive to all regions, and ensure you are available to assist them whenever they require your guidance. You should always do what is right and advise branch leadership on what is right in accordance with our policies and guidelines. You must strive to be great in your role while always working on getting better. You must be relentless in your quest to get better, and you owe it to everyone you support to be as best as you can be in your role. You must be the embodiment of an exceptional teammate because your role takes you all over the company, supporting multiple branch locations.
