Job Description

As our nationwide growth accelerates, our RECRUITING TEAM IN MECHANICSBURG, PA plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home™ by obtaining leads to meet company objectives.

As a RECRUITING INTERN AT WEST SHORE HOME®, you will contribute to this mission by providing vital support services to the Recruiting Department, including candidate and requisition data entry and inbound call routing. You will report directly to our Director of Talent Acquisition.

WHAT YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE

In this role, you can expect to:

• Access application data through recruiting sources and transfer data to ATS
• Apply candidate profiles to the job requisition of interest in the ATS
• Answer inbound phone calls from candidates with a friendly demeanor; transfer caller to appropriate recruiter or take a detailed message and schedule a callback time
• Assist recruiters schedule phone screens with candidates
• Other administrative duties to support the talent acquisition team

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

• Be enrolled (or have graduated within 1 year) in a trade school or University, seeking a degree/certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar field
• Data entry skillset with strong typing
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems quickly
