Needs to be able to work multiple shifts. Able to work weekends and holidays.

• Performs nebulizer treatments, CPT, ventilator checks, ABGS, assists with intubations, CPR and other departmental needs.
• Working In ICU, PCU, Floors, ER, Nursery and ancillary departments. Critical care skills, ACLS, BLS, NRP, Illinois license and RRT required.
• Administering treatments, performing ventilator checks, ABGs, oxygen therapy, responding to Rapid responses and Code Blues.

To be successful in this role, you will be proficient in your ability to perform advanced Respiratory Therapy procedures independently and have exceptional thinking skills. This may include interpreting selective laboratory and diagnostic tests, knowledge of RAD guidelines and Medicare regulations, and knowledge of current disease management guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of a COARC accredited School for Respiratory Therapy
• Licensed as an RCP in the state of Illinois
• RRT Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care for individuals with greater than 6 months’ post-graduation
• RRT eligible new graduates must obtain the RRT credential within 6 months of hire date
• BLS Certified from AHA or ARC
• ACLS Certified from AHA or ARC within 60 days from hire date
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification required for any Charge or Supervisor RT (Respiratory Therapy); credential within 6 months of hire date for all others.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certified required for any Charge or Supervisor RT; credential within 6 months of hire date for all others
