    Bring your Security Engineering experience to a role that makes a difference.

    Essential Duties:

    • In collaboration with software engineers, product owners and operations resources – identify and analyze security risks in our software and platform
    • Proactively lead in scoping and clarifying cybersecurity objectives, deal well with ambiguity/under-defined problems, and advocate for simplification
    • Develop and test solutions to mitigate security risks. Solutions may range in scope from changes in configuration and deployment to modifying application code
    • Identify and test common 3rd party security tools for compatibility with our platform
    • Develop and document best practices for customers when deploying our systems
    • Work closely with a team of software test engineers to ensure high-quality, robust software
    • Write clear, complete software design documents
    • Use Microsoft TFS to manage work items, and source code

    Required:

    • 5+ years’ experience designing and delivering secure internet applications
    • BS in computer science, IT software development, or equivalent experience
    • Solid understanding of internet fundamentals, including networking, firewalls, security, and common servers
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, best practices, and standards
    • Demonstrated ability to create clear, complete software architecture and design documentation as well as other quality deliverables including estimations and risk analysis worksheets
    • Web API development experience using C# on .NET or .NET Core is preferred
    • Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a team
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills

     

    Desired:

    • Familiarity with Active Directory (AD, AD DS, AAD) and LDAP
    • Experience with Docker
    • Hands-on experience in implementing Okta, SecurID, or like solution
    • Solid understanding of how to securely store large datasets
    • Experience designing and working in a HIPAA compliant system
