Our client is a leading Life Sciences/Medical Device company that is helping researchers around the world find cures for our most challenging diseases. To position themselves for continued growth, they're looking to add a Systems Engineer with a focus on strengthening the security of their devices deployed at customer sites. This is a Long Term Contract(with Full Benefits) to start but has the potential to extend or transition to FTE if fit and budget are there. This is a high impact/high ownership role that will work with IT groups, R&D, Scientists and Business stakeholders to deliver cutting edge products that helps save lives! In this role you will:

Help implement Security Best Practices
Work alongside dev/test to help deliver amazing software
Modify application code and enhance system configuration to avoid security risks
Assess/Analyze Security risks and design well-crafted solutions.
Configuration/Performance Testing
Do meaningful work you can be proud of!

The ideal background looks like this:
BS in Computer Science or a related field, MCSE a big PLUS
5-7 years of Windows Security Experience
Strong Active Directory Experience
Demonstrated experience designing and deploying secure internet applications
Systems thinking
Thorough understanding of Antivirus Software and Firewalls
Experience working with APIs in C#
Experience with network design, a thorough knowledge of the Windows Operating System, and exposure to Linux

Threat analysis experience ***This role is mostly remote, but should it transition to perm you'll need to come to the office in Seattle Post-Covid on a regular basis(4-5x a month)
