    Part-Time Marketing Assistant

    WestPoint Financial Group is assisting with the sourcing of this candidate. The candidate will be the employee of a successful advisor, Hussam Zayyad of Takaful Wealth Management, who is looking to expand the firm’s social media presence and develop the firm’s marketing strategies.

    This is a Part-Time position providing a flexible 10-15 hours per week and is located on-site in Lisle, IL.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide marketing support to the advisor’s firm
    • Expand social media presence
    • Assist with set up, facilitation and execution of local marketing events
    • Work with the advisor to complete marketing initiatives
    • Organize and manage marketing collateral
    • Assist with website administration
    • Light graphic design and editing in Canva
    • Call clients to schedule appointments and follow-up on leads
    • Other administrative and marketing tasks may be assigned

    Position Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Associate or Bachelor's degree, preferred; the candidate can be a marketing student working toward a college degree
    • Familiarity with various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Website design experience
    • Excellent telephone skills
    • Strong interpersonal communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Diplomacy
    • Must be detail-oriented and proactive
    • 1+ years marketing experience
    • 1+ years insurance experience, preferred
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no immigration sponsorship available for this role
