The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in a paraplanning role or similar experience in the financial services industry. Candidates with the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or progress towards it, preferred.
This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility during core business hours. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely up to 50% of the time after initial training. Our office is located in the Rosemont/O'Hare area with easy access to the CTA blue line.

Responsibilities:
- Financial plan data-gathering and entry into eMoney
- Reallocating client investments
- Researching Morningstar and other investment resources
- Investment and insurance application submission and account opening
- Creating/uploading detailed client notes and action items in CRM system
- Special projects, including providing back-up to team members, illustration generation, etc.
- Responsibilities and time allocation may evolve to meet practice needs and may include other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- 2+ years financial services experience in paraplanning, investments, etc. (required)
- Familiarity with financial planning tools, eMoney or Moneyguide Pro (required)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) or working toward designation (preferred)
- Proficient with investment trading systems and processes (preferred)
- FINRA Series 6/7 registration (preferred)
