    WestPoint Financial Group is seeking an Operations Associate to support our Financial Planning department in one of our district offices (Chicago, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Lexington, Lisle, Madison, or Milwaukee) by providing efficiencies, record keeping and helping our advisors as they navigate the complexities of running their fee-based financial planning practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independent judgment, self-motivate, and will accurately assess and prioritize tasks. The Operations Associate must be committed to acting as a fiduciary by putting the client's best interests first and will display a commitment to helping our advisors be "best in class."

    Responsibilities:

    • Track team/firm metrics and tasks
    • Audit data points to make sure deadlines are met
    • Remain proficient and knowledgeable around processes and procedures of fee-based financial planning
    • Help advisors remain organized in their fee-based financial planning practice and identify opportunities or issues as they arise
    • Be knowledgeable on all forms and procedures around fee-based financial planning
    • Expand personal knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and joint work with associates
    • Maintain and facilitate updates around the financial planning department's suite of advisor resources and marketing pieces
    • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned

    Qualifications:

    • High attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • An interest in financial planning and the financial services industry
    • Bachelor's degree (required)
    • Financial Planning or Financial Services experience of 2+ years (preferred)
