    Job Description

    SUMMARY OF TUTOR POSITION:

    Child Welfare Services at WIHD is seeking a Tutor/Educational Specialist to provide after school tutoring for children in foster care and some oversight of the tutoring program. This position is part-time, up to 8 hours per week taking place after school on a remote basis.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Requirements for this position would be for candidates to have their Master Degree in Education and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Knowledge of child welfare issues and special education is preferred.

    Ideal candidates will be patient, collaborative, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
