    Job Description

    We are looking for an enthusiastic; self motivated individuals who are seeking experience in the event and marketing industry to join our virtual Communications and Event Management internship team to support and assist us with the planning and execution day to day activities.

    INTERNS WILL WORK REMOTELY FROM HOME. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN VALUABLE WORK EXPERIENCE THAT GOES BEYOND ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS. THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM WILL FOCUS ON PLANNING EVENTS, MARKETING, MEDIA RELATIONS AND OTHER LONG-TERM PROJECTS.

    Interested candidate will be required to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per week (flexible schedule). 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the planning of virtual events and programs.
    • Assist with marketing and promoting events and programs. 
    • Maintain and create contact lists.
    • Provide internet research support for special projects.
    • Assist with publicity and social media campaigns.
    • Assist with management of social media outlets.
    • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    • Strong computer skills including experience with MS Office and Internet research
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to take initiative and work independently
    • Experience with managing/coordinating projects is a plus
    • Interested in meeting new people

    Additional Information

    This is an unpaid, work from home position. Candidates must have access to a computer and internet service. This is an unpaid, work from home position. We offer college credits and recommendation letters, if applicable. Interested candidates will be required to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per week (flexible schedule).

    Participation in the internship program is reserved for enrolled college students or recent grads (USA home-based) who are interested in gaining experience in the event industry.
