Party Line Rentals is the premiere tent and event rental company serving corporations, municipalities, production companies, contractors and homeowners throughout the NY Tri-State area for over 30 years. The outside sales position is a sales-oriented role with combined interests in tent and event rentals, design and event planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confidence in managing clients efficiently, understanding their needs and actively qualifying every lead
• Oversee the sales and operations of private and corporate events.
• Assist in creating and maintaining operational standards
• Work with Marketing on initiatives to generate leads
• Manage relationships with preferred event vendors
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and propose revenue-generating initiatives.
• Assist fellow employees to perform similar or related jobs as and when necessary.
• Achieve set Key Performance Objectives and Indicators and complete all other duties, tasks and projects as required by the Team
• Ensuring booking processes and actions are followed in-line with company standards.

· Support senior sales staff. Handle online inquiries and showroom walk ins.

· Work closely with customers and build equipment rentals and coordination to support their events, defining a clear schedule of deadlines and priorities, ensuring timely delivery of assets as required.

· Detail oriented.

· Support PR events as needed. Trade shows and presentations

· Create event rental proposals

· Act as a liaison between the Outside sales and warehouse teams

QUALIFICATIONS

• The successful candidate will have at least 5 years previous event sale & management experience in a similar high-end, high-volume event planning environment
• Must have experience with Party & Equipment Rentals including, but not limited to; Tents, Lighting, Power and Heavy Equipment
• Attention to detail and a passionate personality are required to suit the vibrant style and atmosphere of our business
• Self-starter and fast learner, and entrepreneurial passion
• Able to perform well under pressure
• Understanding of the NY Tristate market a must
