    We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to help us extend and enhance our platform. This person is an individual contributor who enjoys writing high-quality software as part of a team, a mentor that thrives on growing and improving the team as well as the software, a self-described Maker who loves being able to make decisions that matter, a person that loves watching large complex systems behave well and hates being paged at 3 am.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Mentor and grow the engineering discipline in the team
    • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the product.
    • Contribute to tools and processes that improve team output and quality.
    • Help us become the best team you've ever worked on.

     

    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Several years of software industry experience, showing a steady upward career progression in the art of Software Engineering.
    • Deployed and supported software at a large scale, dealing with the problems, failures, and bugs that resulted.
    • Mastery of several general-purpose programming languages including Java
    • An established background of designing and implementing applications and services
    • Consistently delivered high-quality software
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for team collaboration

     

    NICE TO HAVE

    • Experience interacting with RESTful web-services
    • Experience with Serverless Technologies (AWS Lambda/Google Firebase)
    • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
    • Experience with Docker or other Containerized systems

    EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Current CA Nursing License
    • Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU
    • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
    • Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
    • Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
    • Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
    • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
    • Excellent teaching skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees. (TEAMWORK)
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Demonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation and be receptive to change
    • Possess basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology
