    Job Description

    Western Range Association has a job opening for a MEMBER SERVICES SPECIALIST.  This is a full-time position with a full benefits package.  The position reports directly to the Member Services Director.  

     

    Western Range Association is an association of Sheep and Cattle Ranchers from several western states that assists in the application process for temporary agricultural workers through the H2A program.  Western Range Association is located in Twin Falls, Idaho.  

     

    POSITION OVERVIEW:  This position will assist Member Services in gathering the required documentation for timely completion of the application for employment through the H-2A program. This position will also be responsible for coordinating with the Consulates in order for workers to be interviewed for VISA applications.  This position will carry out investigations to identify training opportunities, compliance issues, and help educate best practices for WRA members to ensure compliance in the H-2A program.  Investigations will include confidential interviews over the phone and in person, completion and retention of audit reports on completed investigations, and report breach of regulations to Executive Director.  This person will need to build a positive relationship with Workers & Ranchers. The person in this position is required to learn and understand the H-2A regulation as it applies to their job duties. A successful candidate will be an integral part of a team dedicated to providing the members with excellent customer service while always looking out for growth opportunities.  

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Must be proficiency with the Spanish language. Detail Oriented. Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and accomplish goals.   Experience and knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as managing files and records, and the use of office equipment.  Written & verbal communication skills including composing correspondence. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Software. The ability to work and communicate with a team.  Customer service skills with an emphasis on telephone interactions.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  .  The ability to translate between Spanish and English orally and for written communication using the correct rules of composition and grammar is highly desired.
