    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Loan Servicing Specialist handles a variety of aspects related to the department from booking new loans, maintaining them in the core processing system to the processing of the payoffs. In addition, performs a variety of duties related to the Loan Servicing Department.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Review reports, bills, rate change notices.
    • Processes payments and transfer requests.
    • Processes payoffs for all loan types.
    • Posts new loans and modifications to the core system.
    • Performs necessary tasks related to Investor reporting.
    • Performs necessary tasks related to Participation loans.
    • Performs necessary tasks related to loans serviced by other institutions.
    • Performs quality control of various functions performed by others.
    • Performs necessary tasks related to paid loans.
    • Performs necessary tasks related to real estate taxes.
    • Performs necessary tasks related to various mortgage and property insurances.
    • Scanning of loan files.
    • Answer customer’s inquiries.
    • Performs a variety of duties related to servicing.
    • Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned.
    • Must adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to position.
    • Performs additional duties as requested.

    Education/Experience/Skills ****

    • High School Diploma or its equivalency
    • Knowledge of OnBase and its functional capabilities.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required.
    • Knowledge of the core processing system.
    • Knowledge of loan documentation.
    • Capable of calculating interest (i.e. additional day’s interest).
