The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain, purchasing, and distribution process. Benefits:

Duties May Include:

· Oversees purchasing and distribution process

· Take and manage warehouse inventory

· Schedule inbound and outbound shipments

· Monitor shipments and make sure products arrive on time

· Monitor shipment costs and productivity processes· Broker new sales loads based on our needs

Language Skills:

· Ability to read and write in English.

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and operating manuals.

· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.

· Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.

Mathematical Skills:

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. · Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. · Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions:

The Logistics Coordinator will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. The incumbent may also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time. Westfield Egg Farm may be a busy facility. The incumbent may have to manage several projects at one time and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of employees and customers. The Logistics Coordinator may find the environment to be busy and/or noisy and will need excellent organizational and time/stress management skills to complete the required tasks.
