Job Description
The Guest Experience Coordinator is responsible for helping people get connected to Mariners Church through guest services, weekend events and guest follow up. He or she will support systems and planning to recruit and develop volunteers to support this work. Under the leadership of the Guest Experience Director, this person will support the following:
- Guest Experience: Coordinate, schedule and lead volunteers for the weekend experience, from the parking lot to worship. Create a welcoming, joyful, excellent, Jesus-centered environment while ensuring alignment with the service programming content.
- Weekend Events: Facilitate excellent, well-planned post-service events. Complete budget documents and follow through on invoices
- Connect Card Follow Up: Ensure timely follow-up with attendees that submit a connect card. Instigate digital introductions with ministry leaders and provide other ‘next steps’ for attendees.
- Coordination: Create and manage master calendar, scheduling system (s), CRM (i.e. The Rock). Coordinate communications and weekly rhythms to ensure timely, relational and regular connections between Staff and Volunteers. Coordinate ministry requests for project assistance and partnership on weekend experiences.
