    Job Description

    WESTIN HOMES is looking for a CLOSING COORDINATOR to be a team player within our Closing Department. This position carries a high degree of responsibility, accuracy, and timely coordination between sales, construction, home buyers, the Design Center, lenders, and title companies.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Review for accuracy and process Purchase Agreement packages, including but not limited to, Purchase Agreement, Disclosures, Broker Registration, Purchasers Information
    • Adhere to company policies for contract checklist review and completion
    • Coordinate contract execution process in a timely manner
    • Confirm contract reporting is accurate and all required information is received
    • Distribute all contract-related information to appropriate internal and external persons as applicable to the contract process
    • Maintain job files for all contracts
    • Identify, monitor, and follow-up on issues related to closings
    • Upload and maintain processing systems to ensure ease of accessibility to files
    • Create necessary builder documents
    • Ensure construction submits closing calendars
    • Responsible for sending out Incentive Use Form to home buyers
    • EFL Certificates
    • Ordering of Final Surveys
    • Audit files before completion of Final Closing Instruction
    • Complete Final Closing Instructions
    • Check Preliminary CD before closing
    • Review final documentation for closing, record closing surveys

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • High School Diploma or a combination of equivalent education and experience required
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Two years’ experience in residential construction administration
    • Knowledge of residential contract and closing documents
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports
    • Ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions
    • Must have strong communication and people skills
    • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
    • Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
