    - Westmont of Brentwood is hiring now for a Compass Rose Lifestyle Director (Memory Care ) - 

    Westmont Living, Inc., a premier provider of retirement living, assisted living and dementia care is seeking a, customer focused Compass Rose Lifestyle Director for our Memory Care at Senior Living community. Westmont Living, Inc. is comprised of passionate, experienced senior housing leaders who have formed a company that focuses on what matters: resident lifestyle, convenience and bringing service to the next level. Compass Rose Lifestyle Directors must exemplify and promote Westmont Living’s Service Standards of safety, friendliness, a homelike setting and efficiency at all times.

    All Compass Rose Lifestyle Directors of Westmont Living communities are key team members, maintaining full accountability for fulfillment of the mission of Westmont Living at their respective communities. The Compass Rose Lifestyle Director is responsible for promoting Compass Rose Navigation activity program, in which all three components of health and wellness are addressed, physical exercise/activity, brain fitness/lifelong learning and social events/spirituality. Trains, coordinates, and facilitates all aspects of the Compass Rose activities program.

    In order to be considered for a position with our premier community we seek a candidate that possesses the following:

    • Must be at least 25 years of age.
    • Have current criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
    • Able to communicate written and orally in English.
    • Passed post offer health physical, TB test and drug screen.
    • Within 30 days of hire be certified in CPR and First Aid
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of two years’ experience with Dementia care or in a Dementia related environment
    • Have 3 years’ experience in conducting group activities and events (In CA, completed CA Activity Certification course) and at least 2 years of related experience.
    • Current Class B drivers’ license, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
    • Cares Dementia Advanced Care Certification, preferred
    • Must have strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.
    • Must be able to push/pull up to 40 lbs, lift up to 35 lbs.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the service needs of our residents, this can include weekend shifts.
