ASSISTANT RESEARCH TECHNICIAN – LEMPRADL LAB
Van Andel Institute is a leading independent biomedical research facility dedicated to determining the epigenetic, genetic, molecular and cellular origins of cancer, Parkinson’s and other diseases, and translating those findings into effective therapies. The Institute is home to more than 400 scientists and support staff that work in on-site laboratories and in collaborative partnerships that span the globe.
The Lempradl Lab is seeking to hire a PART-TIME ASSISTANT RESEARCH TECHNICIAN (10-20 hours/week). The lab focuses on non-genetic inheritance of nutritional states.

Required Skills
Ability to adapt quickly to multiple tasks as well as solving arithmetic problems. Demonstrated ability to handle routine problems on an independent basis. Experience with understanding and properly performing, recognizing and recording established experimental procedures. Ability to independently prioritize to effectively execute tasks with minimal supervision.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 0-2 years of science related experience.
