    JOB TITLE: Door Ambassador, Hourly Staff

     

    DEPARTMENT: Enrollment Administration and Student Success (EASS)

     

    PAY RATE: $15.00 - $15.75 per hour 

     

    NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 4

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    The Door Ambassador will be responsible for greeting all students and faculty entering our buildings.  The Ambassadors will politely assist all visitors in complying with health and safety requirement and informing all visitors of the policies and regulations.  The Door Ambassador may need to supervise work-study students who are also tasked with Door Ambassador duties and can accomplish other duties as needed.

     

    • Greet students and faculty to Confluence and Cherry Creek buildings

    • Provide instructions and building procedures as visitors come into the buildings including but not limited to passing out masks to those that do not have one.

    • Provide direction and assistance to all building visitors

    • Promote a positive image of the campus

     

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

     

    • Proficiency in oral and written communication

    • Ability to work in fast-paced office setting and ability to handle stressful situations

    • Prior experience working in a customer service setting 

    • Ability to multi-task

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills required - courteous, polite and assertive

     

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Associates Degree (not required, but preferred)

    • Knowledge of Auraria Campus (not required, but preferred)

     

     

    TIME COMMITMENT

    28 hours a week (may not exceed 28 hours per week)
