WESTWOOD PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, INC. is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our team in our Minneapolis, MN office. The successful transportation and logistics engineer will perform and/or supervise traffic impact studies, infrastructure cost analysis, and public road improvement and traffic control & signage plans associated with renewable power projects. Further responsibilities include negotiating Road Maintenance Agreements and presentations to local jurisdictions as well as developing client relationships for maintenance marketing and repeat business. The successful candidate will also manage, prepare and complete a variety of civil engineering and transportation planning reports, studies and plans for large, complex projects in a timely and proficient nature to produce solutions for our client’s success. The candidate will develop an understanding of the components, materials, and scheduling necessary to construct wind and solar projects and the impacts the construction of these projects may have on public infrastructure.
