    The Customer Support Engineer will be the focal point within the Customer Support organization who coordinates, analyzes, prioritizes, monitors, and reports on internally and externally driven customer support issues. The Customer Support Engineer works with other Engineering disciplines, Program Management, Operations, Contracts, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control to resolve customer support issues. Open communication between the various departments is integral to the success of this position.

     

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Drive, coordinate, and lead cross-functional failure analysis and corrective action teams to identify technical solutions through root cause analysis for production, reliability, repair, and/or performance issues.
    • Identify and report product and quality trends.
    • Review proposed technical solutions.
    • Prepare reports on key performance indicators for internal and external customers.
    • Coordinate technical discussions with customers.

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Bachelor of Science degree in electronic, electrical or manufacturing engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
    • Must have experience in design, development or test of electronic assemblies through an internship or co-op.
    • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment among a variety of levels within the organization on individual and group projects..
    • Must be able to perform detailed analysis including root cause analysis.
    • Must be able to review and analyze data to drive corrective actions.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must be a self-starter and a team player.
    • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient with MS Office products and databases.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Residence Cardholder.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Knowledge of circuit board design and layout.
    • Minimum one year of experience in an electronics or manufacturing environment.
