    JOB TITLE: Student Assistant / Office Support / Outreach Assistant, Work-Study

     

     

     

    DEPARTMENT: BITPS

     

     

     

    PAY RATE: $12.85per hour 

     

     

    NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 1

     

     

     

    Fall and Spring Semesters 

     

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

     

    • Respond to public inquiries 
    • Receive, direct, and relay telephone messages and fax messages 
    • Provide course information to prospective students 
    • Direct general public to the appropriate staff/faculty member
    •  Pick-up and deliver mail 
    • Run errands on campus as needed 
    • Scan and file student and course information

     

     

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

     

      Must be a current student of the Community College of Denver, taking at least six hours of credit and awarded work-study funds.

     

     Responsible for providing clerical and customer service support in order to ensure a friendly, courteous, effective, and efficient office environment.

     

     

    Also required is knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver & InDesign Software. The ideal candidate is an MGD student or graduate.

     

     

     

     

     

    TIME COMMITMENT

     

    15 hours a week (may not exceed 20 hours per week)
