Local Water Resources Service Leader
Cambridge International Systems is looking for a Director of Human Resources to support its needs as a growing organization in a global GOVCON environment. The Director of HR will provide a broad range of Human Resources expertise to support the achievement of business objectives across the company. This role will effectively lead analysis and decision-making in the areas of HR operations, leadership, talent management and development, change management, talent acquisition, and employee relations. The Director of HR will be a sounding board for the business, evaluating and influencing the effect of business decisions on people, and translating business needs to actionable HR programs and solutions. Successful candidates will be highly collaborative, customer service oriented, and business and relationship-building focused. This position will report directly to the Chief Administration Officer.

Required Skills
Required Experience
14+ years of demonstrated experience as an HR practitioner with progressive HR generalist or business partner responsibilities, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a management role, preferably in the government contracting industry.
Demonstrated background in employee relations including investigations and corrective practices, performance management, training and development, and staffing and retention required.
Well versed in federal, state and local laws and regulations affecting HR.
Supervisory experience leading and developing an HR team including the ability to inspire, motivate, influence, and hold colleagues accountable to high standards.
Excellent interpersonal skills; customer service orientation; ability to function effectively as team member and team leader; demonstrated ability to establish respect, credibility, and trust at all levels of the organization; analytical ability, problem solving skills.
Mastery of communication skills and styles, both written and verbal; demonstrated ability to effectively present information to internal and external partners.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and results focused.
Attention to detail, process oriented, high level of proficiency in organizational and prioritization skills.
Familiarity with ADP WorkforceNow, HR software and working knowledge of MS Office.
Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality.
Bachelor’s degree required; post graduate degree or related certification preferred (i.e. SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, etc.)
