    WESTWOOD PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, INC. is seeking a Graduate Engineer III to join our team in our Las Vegas, NV office.  Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. 

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare detailed analysis on a variety of technical tasks
    • Participate in design development concepts, make comparative cost and analysis and write specifications
    • Perform limited quality control reviews and assist with quality assurance procedures within areas of expertise
    • Consistently apply SHG standards and procedures
    • Prepare work plan, schedule and budget for basic task assignments

     

    Required Skills

    • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of practice area
    • Ability to perform intermediate to advanced design tasks
    • Ability to prepare large portions of project documents
    • Ability to prepare and edit specifications
    • Possess proficient knowledge and application of software required for position
    • Working knowledge of and ability to apply local agency standards (i.e. UDACS, HUGS, DCSWCS)
    • Able to follow general directions and work independently on intermediate to advanced computations
    • Actively involved in related professional organizations
    • Possess exceptional organizational skills

     

    Required Experience

     

    • Bachelor’s degree

    • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience post degree

    • Successfully passed the Engineering Fundamentals Exams and is in training to become a Registered Professional Engineer
