We are currently hiring a Treatment Counselor to work with a government partner at a reentry facility near downtown San Diego. 

This is an opportunity to get started in criminal justice with a company that has hundreds of state and federal partnerships nationwide. 

Requires AOD counselor certification by an accredited organization. 

Job Description:

1. Asses residents through interviews and screening assessments.
2. Establish trust with participants in order to determine their needs.
3. Facilitate Group Treatment programs according to all required regulations
4. Foster strong participation and engagement from those under your care.
5. Maintains the confidentiality in compliance with prevailing laws and regulation(s).
6. Maintain proper documentation
7. Prepare evaluation/transition plans

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of full-time counseling experience in a substance use disorder program is required.
• Must possess an (AOD) Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor "Certification" by an accredited certifying organization.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required.
