Job Description
Silver Lining Transport is looking for a Branch Manager to manage the day-to-day operations in Sacramento. This includes coordinating with medical facilities, clients and internal staff to deliver on-time medical transport for our clients. Demonstrate empathy and understanding for clients (children, seniors, individuals with handicaps or illness).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain efficient operations in the service area.
Recruit, hire & train new employees.
Provide excellent and effective communication and customer service both internally and to clients and Network Providers/Medical Facilities.
Manage office staff which includes Drivers, Dispatchers & Schedulers
Monitor drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and safe driving practices
Work effectively with billing/accounting to enable efficient revenue cycle
Document operations appropriately and follow Company policies.
Prepare for site audits
Grow Business
Manage van fleet in regard to safety, maintenance and repairs
Prepare management reports
QUALIFICATIONS
BA in Business, Logistics, Transportation Management or related field is a plus
3+ Years of Experience as a Branch or Office Manager preferably in the transportation or delivery industry.
Understanding of basic CA Labor Law helpful.
Moderate skills in MS Word, Excel, & Smart Phone Applications. Knowledge of Mediroutes & SyMed software helpful but not required.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, along with the ability to work in a very fast-paced, changing environment.
Effective written and oral communications skills
