Which Wich Superior Sandwiches is seeking a highly motivated and energetic General Manager for our brand new Norfolk store located at The Norfolk Premium Outlets.
The General Manager is responsible for "Delivering The Vibe" to our guests and associates; focusing on ensuring superior sandwiches, superior service and superior associates while leading and developing team members to deliver superior product quality and customer service in a clean, friendly environment. The General Manager will also create food & beverage services that focus on revenue growth, controlling costs, protecting and increasing profitability, service standards and quality levels for the restaurant.

Our Team: It is the responsibility of the General Manager to demonstrate and reinforce great leadership behaviors and values in a fair, consistent and respectful manner to each of our team members. The General Manager will:
Source, interview and hire qualified candidates that exemplify our values and demonstrate "Vibe"
Train and develop each team member
Manage low turnover through employee satisfaction and employee feedback sessions
Manage employee schedules
Coach, counsel and discipline as needed
Provide clear goals and objectives to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Promote teamwork and cooperation within the store
Evaluate the performance of each team member and provide constructive and honest feedback of performance
Create and communicate all marketing promotions, events and critical information to all team members
Maintain a safe and professional work environment free from any form of harassment, hostile environment and discrimination from any team member, guest or vendor
Ensure team members follow Which Wich uniform standards and meet personal appearance guidelines
Profitability: The objective is to have profitable stores, therefore the General Manager is accountable for:
Lead local store marketing initiatives to help boost sales
Control food and labor costs
Implementation of new products and procedures
Manage controllable expenses within the budgetary guidelines
Review weekly numbers and creating action plans based on areas needing attention
Place weekly food orders
Standards: We are all about serving a product that is consistently Superior as quickly as possible. The General Manager will maintain the standards set for:
Product quality, inventor, speed of service and steps of service
Cleanliness and sanitation for all physical aspects of the store
Food safety regulations and processes-ServSafe certification
Compliance: Which Wich stores must remain in compliance with all local, state and federal labor laws, food sanitation regulations, OSHA regulations or any other governing local, state and federal regulation. The GM will be accountable for:
Wage and Hour compliance
Immigration compliance
Ensuring that all daily paperwork, weekly inventories and reports are completed timely and accurately
Maintaining compliance with the Franchise Agreement/License at all times
Following all cash control procedures
Protection of confidential information (i.e. wages, personnel information, company records, credit card information)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Minimum of four (4) years in QSR environment in a management position required
Must be able to satisfy ServSafe manager certification
Passion and commitment to guest service
Desire to train, lead, and motivate our team members
Energetic, self motivated leader with strong work ethic required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be able to clearly articulate ideas to a diverse audience to include Guests, Associates, Management & Vendors.
