Analyst, Data Management Functional Overview: The Service Parts Operations team within our Integrated Supply Chain organization is responsible for the life-cycle management of all service parts and accessories launched in tandem with our major appliance products. This is a complex and challenging business that also fulfills a critical role for our consumers given we are a durable goods company whose products remain a part of consumers' lives for many years. This is a great opportunity to develop technical skills and gain cross-functional experience supporting our parts and accessories business. With over 60,000 active stock-keeping units to maintain, data accuracy and completeness are top priorities in this role. The common data model as expressed through the Data Catalog is a core piece of intellectual property and key to the company's success. We are looking for a Data Management Analyst with a deep technical understanding of data, analytics, and the ability to pick up new business concepts and technologies. The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing, validating, and modeling data to meet the needs of our Service Parts Operations team with the purpose of supporting process efficiency, business analysis, and decision making. You will be driving enhancements to our primary workflow management tool to ensure we deliver on our business goal of high service part availability at the best cost possible. Job Responsibilities : Generate and analyze data sets Define, standardize and catalog data elements Support data governance initiatives Develop analytical methods to enable data-driven decision making Analyze data to find subtle emerging issues Monitor and discover opportunities for continuous improvement within the business Respond to and deliver analytical solutions in support of master data management, supply chain planning, and demand forecasting functions Design and enhance current data services including reporting, web design, and data visualizations Minimum Requirements : Bachelor's Degree 2+ years of SAP Experience Experience in one or more of the following Coding Languages such as Structured Query Language (SQL), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JAVASCRIPT, C#, Visual Basic Application (VBA), .NET, Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP ) Experience with SQL server services SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS ) Preferred Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Access databases Understanding of Data Models Strong understanding of Lean principles and methodologies Proven track record in driving Continuous Improvement via Lean Tools Previous experience in a Product Manufacturing Company Strong experience using Tableau to generate insights Solid analytical skills demonstrating critical thinking and creativity Thorough, accurate, and detail-oriented Good planning, organization, and communication skills Flexible team player with the ability to lead and support as individual situations dictate Possess an entrepreneurial spirit of winning, and demonstrate effective contributions in a team environment RSRWH Whirlpool Corporation (NYSE: WHR) is the world's leading kitchen and laundry appliance company, with approximately $20 billion in annual sales, 77,000 employees, and 59 manufacturing and technology research centers in 2019.
