Job Summary

We're in the business of selling fun! Do you enjoy the process of planning events? Are you passionate about providing fun experiences that make people want to return to a business again and again? WhirlyBall Twin Cities is a unique entertainment destination that combines fun, food, and drinks for customers of all ages. We are currently seeking a nights and weekends Event Sales Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you would spend your time answering phones, scheduling events, replying to emails, and working with our operations team to ensure events are executed successfully. We have locations in Bloomington and Maple Grove Minnesota, this position could work out of either location. This role would cover 2-3 nights per week as well as weekends.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with rest of events team and guests to plan events via phone and email

Coordinate the event logistics with operations team via event planning software and messaging

Create event confirmations and banquet event orders that encompass the event details

Report to management regarding events, including recommended improvements

About the company:

WhirlyBall Twin Cities is a locally-owned company that has been operating in Maple Grove for the past 9 years, and recently opened a second location across from the Mall of America in Bloomington. A multi-attraction entertainment facility that offers WhirlyBall (a combination of basketball, lacrosse, and hockey played in bumper cars), as well as a multi-level laser tag arena and 8 lanes of bowling, in addition to full restaurant / banquet facilities and two bars.
