Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. Responsibilities: • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties • Order necessary bar supplies, stock and keep track of all wine, liquor, and beer inventories as well as maintain a full supply of glassware and notify management of any shortages • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system • Mix and deliver drinks to customers including alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks • Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations Qualifications: • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members Compensation: $4 - $9 an hour plus tips
