    The Whistling Kettle is searching for a versatile employee who is eager to mix things up a bit. One day you’ll be serving tea in our new Tea Bar, the next you’ll be making the rounds and helping drive our wholesale program, and the next you’ll be creating the next viral social media video. If doing the same thing every day sounds boring, this might be the perfect role for you!

    Qualifications

    Goal oriented, eager to learn, organized, and able to manage time efficiently.

    Excellent communication, task management and problem-solving skills needed.

    This position is a supporting role for projects related to digital marketing, sales, and customer service.

    Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to engage with diverse groups of guests.

    Individuals who apply should be comfortable with technology and have some experience with

    Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

    Social media management (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)

    E-mail marketing suites

    Some Graphic Design or Content Design

    E-commerce

    Retail/office experience

    Job Summary

    Assist in a creative role, helping brainstorm ideas for new social media and email marketing content.

    Support in developing our wholesale business line by reaching out to local businesses and helping to implement a tea program.

    Support and build positive brand relationships with our growing affiliate marketing presence and wholesale accounts.

    Craft expertly-made tea drinks, from pure teas to our signature beverages.

    Responsibilities

    1. Tea Bar Barista

    o Greet customers at our Tea Bar, creating a positive first impression. o Expertly craft beverages from our tea bar menu. o Foster a welcoming environment by ensuring the tea bar is clean and presentable.

    1. E-commerce Customer Service

    o Live chat and phone support during business hours to answer questions, phone sales or troubleshoot any customer concerns. o Maintain our ticket-based system to respond to customer questions/requests in a timely manner. o Writing up invoices, invoicing customers, managing special orders

    1. Wholesale sales

    o Work with existing clients to manage and support their needs. o New business development – Open new accounts through cold calls and in-person visits. o Maintain (and build!) relationships with existing wholesale customers.

    1. Digital Marketing

    o Collaborate with our team to develop and deliver our weekly e-mail newsletter. o Develop and update blog posts with the latest search trends. o Assist with creatives as needed, including website updates.

    1. Fulfillment (during peak seasons)

    o Provide warehouse support in terms of picking or packing items as needed
