Assistance Construction Bookkeeper
The ideal candidate will need a good understanding of general bookkeeping responsibilities and has some experience with job costing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Accounts Payable Experience to include job costing
· Sub-Contractor Experience
· Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
· Process purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner
· Assist with reviewing of expenses
· Assist Controller with preparation of weekly/monthly reports
· Assist with other accounting projects
· Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner
· Other duties as assigned
SKILLS
· Proven experience as a bookkeeper
· Excellent organizing abilities
· Ability to work independently
· Great attention to detail, time management and follow-up
· Ability to handle additional duties and phone calls
· Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks, MS Office, Excel spreadsheets and familiarity with relevant computer software
In today’s work environment it is important to know that we all wear multiply hats so being a flexible team player with a positive can-do attitude is important. This company has a casual work environment Monday – Thursday normally some Fridays as needed and hours are flexible.
Requirements & Qualifications:
5+ years experience
Construction experience HELPFUL
MUST be proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
MUST be able to pass a background check
Job Type: PT possible FT
Salary: $18.00 /hour depending on experience and skill
