Primary Responsibilities

Be part of an energetic, agile, and growing team of developers who are building exciting web-based applications utilizing modern technology stacks

Partner with Lead Developers and Architects on various development projects

Help refine existing user experiences for our web and mobile applications

Be part of system white platform performance enhancements and systems scaling

Efficiently manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

Give and gracefully receive constructive feedback from leadership and peers

Requirements

2 years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js

Additional experience programming in languages like PHP

Experience with Back-end Frameworks such as Express, Loopback

Experience with Front-end Frameworks such as Angular, React-Native

Experience with databases such as MySQL/Maria, Postgres, Redis, MongoDB

Some experience with version controls tools like Git

Familiarity with cache stores such as Redis

Experience writing unit tests

Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment

Familiar with both OO and Functional Programming paradigms

General understanding of processes related to design, implementation, and testing of all aspects of the stack - Backend, Frontend, Infrastructure, and DevOps

Working in an AGILE/SCRUM environment

At least 2 years of web development experience

Nice to have experience

Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting like Bash, sh, zsh

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Buddy

Familiarity with Docker and other DevOps tools and techniques

Familiarity with AWS - EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront

Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Docker Swarm, Kubernetes
