Primary Responsibilities

Enhance platform performance and help scale systems.

Refine existing user experiences for app and web environments.

Partner with Lead Developer and CTO on various projects.

Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

Work on a small, agile and growing team to help us build out the business and expand our user base. Clearly, annotate customer accounts to provide internal stakeholders with key information regarding the status of assigned customers

Give and gracefully receive constructive feedback from leadership and peers

Requirements

Preference for candidates with experience in Node.js, Javascript, TypeScript• Additional programming languages like PHP, Java• Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting like Bash, sh, zsh• Web Libraries/Frameworks such as Angular, React, Loopback• DBs such as MySQL/Maria, Postgres, Redis, MongoDB• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Buddy• Version Control such as Git• Familiarity with Docker and other DevOps tools and techniques• Familiarity with AWS - EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront• Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Docker Swarm, Kubernetes• Both OO and Functional Programming paradigms• Design, implementation, and testing of all aspects of the stack - Backend, Frontend, Infrastructure and DevOps• Working in an AGILE/SCRUM environment
