    SALES REPRESENTATIVE OVERVIEW

    SALES REPRESENTATIVE JOB SUMMARY This person is responsible for generating recurring “solution sales” while developing effective relationships with top-level executives. In this role, you will sell print, mail, promotional items, and marketing solutions to corporations big and small. Candidates must possess high energy, excellent communication, strong business acumen, organizational skills, and a proven corporate sales record with decision-makers. Candidates should be comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation. SALES REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Help large companies leverage their print spending for meaningful savings by researching a customer's individual or business purchase needs

    • Help marketing professionals grow their sales by adjusting sales tactics based on tests and new insights in the field

    • Resolves customer complaints and queries

    • Submits purchase orders

    • Informs management of purchase actions

    • Bridge the gap between printing and technology to streamline transactions.

    • Manage and streamline ordering products throughout our online catalogs

    • Maintains monthly or bi-monthly minimum goals

    • Completes market research and monitors competitor activity

    • Makes recommendations for the customer

    Sales Representative Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (ideal but not required)
    • Experienced in B2B, outside sales with an emphasis on commercial print and/or marketing solutions
    • Able to bring existing business (500k – 2M+)
    • General knowledge of basic software programs such as MS Office
    • Highly organized, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently with little or no instruction, and can work with a team
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Answering clients' questions and concerns via phone, text, web, and email
    • Processing quotes and sample requests
    • Calling clients and prospects to review their quotes, samples, artwork, and orders
    • Gathering and sharing clients’ requirements with our graphic artists
    • Creating and reviewing print specs, providing proofs, and following production workflows into finished products
    • Submitting proofs for client review
    • Keeping clients up-to-date on the status of their print job
    • Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
    • Excellent time management skills with an aptitude for punctuality
    • Clean DMV record and background checks
