Are you interested in learning the ins and outs of a nonprofit organization in a challenging and rewarding environment? The nonprofit news organization WhoWhatWhy is seeking a Recruitment Researcher to help us lead our sourcing efforts in hiring world-class Editorial talent.

A nonprofit that accepts no advertising, we are staffed largely with skilled volunteers dedicated to elevating public awareness and fostering a more vigorous democracy.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a Recruitment Researcher to join the very busy Editorial Recruiting Team. The successful Volunteer will help create recruitment research strategies, build candidate pipelines, and conduct internet research to identify passive candidates to fill critical editorial positions. You will partner with recruiters and HR to share market insights, make talent recommendations, and support the overall recruitment efforts. You will use your resourcefulness and creativity to attract Volunteers from around the country and the world to join WhoWhatWhy.

All Volunteers work remotely and on your own schedule, as we believe remote work is essential to cultivate a productive and happy culture. We also require a minimum commitment of 10-15 hours/ week, though doing more is not discouraged! Because our Volunteers are spread throughout the world, we communicate mostly through Slack and email, and team members are requested to be responsive in a timely manner. All Volunteers are asked to respond to emails on a daily basis.
