    Whole Healthy You is looking for an efficient, capable office manager to help run our well-established clinic in Odenton, MD. If you have experience with holistic businesses (chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, yoga therapists, health/wellness coaches) and/or experience in a medical office setting, please consider applying for this dynamic role, which is currently approximately 30 hours per week. About You: Self-starter, motivated, independent, honest, loyal, articulate, communicative, sense of humor, organized, efficient, punctual, resilient, confident, firm, decisive, non-judgmental, conscientious, upbeat, practical, thorough, diligent, intelligent, mature, problem solver, compassionate, good listener, attentive, patient, disciplined, thoughtful, flexible Responsibilities: What You Will Be Doing: • Keep our office busy and thriving by engaging existing and new patients, educating them about all of our services, and helping them with routine needs (e.g., facilitate referrals, provide billing documents, verify and explain insurance benefits) • Manage clinic operations, including cleaning, ordering supplies, routine maintenance, IT/software functionality, and accounts payable • Maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive atmosphere • Manage a small front-desk staff and keep them engaged with their work while encouraging accurate work and a playful atmosphere • Coordinate and/or perform insurance activities (e.g., billing, electronic remittance, appeals) • Manage accounts receivable/collections accounts • Support marketing for the clinic, both internal and external (expertise with Canva and email software like Mailchimp is a plus; ability to schedule meetings/facilitate relationships with referring providers is a BIG plus) • Work with the doctor to hire an associate doctor to increase the number of patients we can reach ASAP • Manage all government-mandated protocols such as HIPAA and OSHA compliance • Manage CAQH, insurance, and vendor contracting/relationships • Currently approximately 30 hours per week; there is the possibility for the right candidate to help to shape the schedule Qualifications: Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of office management experience (healthcare/medical office preferred), with the ability to demonstrate progressively increasing responsibility • Computer-savvy, including MS Office Suite and EHR and medical billing software • Willingness to learn new programs and facility for doing so quickly • Experience with electronic health insurance billing/receivables is strongly preferred • Strong written and oral communication skills • Experience with marketing/sales is strongly preferred • Experience with/interest in yoga is a plus To be considered, please ensure that you follow ALL instructions and meet these requirements: • Attach your resume to your application. • Answer the four questions at the bottom of this posting in your cover letter. • This is an on-site position (possibility for some remote work in the future); you must be located within easy commuting distance of our Odenton, Md., office. • You MUST have some weekday evening availability and reliable transportation. • Do not respond if you do not have office management experience and strong organizational and time-management skills.
