    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for assisting in the sale of products via phone and internet. Support existing accounts, and secure new accounts through the use of individual and team objectives. Responsible for achieving budgeted sales and project objectives. Respond to customer inquiries or complaints regarding sales or product. 

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide support for existing accounts

    • Generate new business accounts by contacting sales leads

    • Address customer inquiries 

    • Research required information using available resources

    • Provide customers with product and service information

    • Inform customers of order status

    • Enter or update information and notes in the customer management system

    • Identify and escalate priority issues

    • Document all call information according to procedures

    • Responsible for targeted sales goals (monthly, quarterly, yearly)

    • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, following up to ensure resolution.

    • Consolidate customer orders

    • Manage Return Goods Authorizations (RGA’s) for assigned customers

    • Develop relationships with all vendors

    • Secure product price, availability and delivery status from vendors

    • Enter and manage all orders for assigned customers

    • Follow-up on product sent in for service

    • Search part numbers

    • Write up order corrections

    • Research, identify and develop new customers

    • Assist with all company promotional events

    • Other duties as assigned

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1-5 years experience in Sales/Customer Service

    • 1-5 years’ experience in automotive and/or tool industry preferred

    • Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Proficient computer skills

    • Proficient data entry skills

    • Proficient in the use of email and telephone.

     

    COMPENSATION:

     As a Trainee, you will receive a base hourly wage during a training and introductory period. The structure and duration of the introductory period will be appropriately determined by the Sales Manager and the Human Resources Manager. The pay structure for this position will transition to full commission when potential commission earnings exceed hourly earnings for three consecutive months.
