    Position Title: Wide Receivers Coach Reports To: Offensive Coordinator / Head Football Coach

    Position Summary: The Wide Receivers Coach is responsible for the development, performance, and accountability of the wide receiver position group. This role emphasizes technical skill development, football IQ, effort, and alignment with the offensive system while supporting the overall mission, culture, and standards of the football program.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Coach and develop wide receivers in all technical areas including stance and start, releases, route running, separation, blocking, ball skills, and yards-after-catch techniques

    Teach and reinforce offensive concepts, route adjustments, spacing, and coverage recognition within the offensive system

    Prepare and lead individual drills, group periods, and contribute to offensive practice planning

    Evaluate player performance through film breakdown and provide clear, actionable feedback

    Assist with game planning, opponent breakdowns, and weekly installation plans

    Support recruiting efforts including evaluation, communication, and relationship building with prospective student-athletes

    Maintain position-specific depth charts, grading, and accountability standards

    Collaborate effectively with the offensive staff, strength staff, academic support, and administration

    Model professionalism, leadership, and positive mentorship for student-athletes

    Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Offensive Coordinator

    Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and extended hours during the season

    Required Certifications & Compliance:

    Must meet all institutional, conference, and governing body requirements (NJCAA or applicable)

    Completion of required compliance, recruiting, and eligibility education modules prior to and during employment

    Valid CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain once on campus)

    Successful completion of background check and employment verification

    Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred

    Adherence to all institutional policies, student-athlete welfare standards, and ethical conduct guidelines

    Commitment to Title IX, FERPA, and institutional equity and inclusion policies

    Compensation & Benefits:

    Compensation commensurate with experience and institutional guidelines

    Housing and meal benefits may be provided, subject to availability and institutional policy

    Additional benefits may include professional development opportunities and access to campus resources

    Salary range $19,000 - $25,000.

    Work Environment:

    Evening, weekend, and travel responsibilities required

    Ability to stand for extended periods and actively participate in on-field instruction
