    Job Summary

    The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for marketing all Widewaters Hotels properties by marketing promotions, digital marketing and social media. This position will be representing the hotel interactions, dealing with vendors relative to sales and operational questions, concerns, and issues. The Vice President of Marketing is to adhere to the mission and values of Widewaters.

    Essential Functions of the Job

    Leadership

    Oversee all matters related to marketing and communications including media relations, digital marketing, consumer relationship management, social media, brand identity and collateral production to ensure fully integrated campaigns.

    Manage agency relationships and collaborate with leaders across property teams (GM, DORMs, DOS, F&B) with respect to marketing campaigns, media and advertising alignment.

    Align and support the area or property Marketing Specialists in the corporate, brand and property marketing execution.

    Spearhead marketing plans to prioritize messages and delivery channels for packages, need periods and groups designated by the hotels.

    Measure, analyze and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals of work done in-house or by agencies (ROI and KPIs).

    Manage booking links, listings and other activities on websites for most up-to-date content with third-party partners (YEXT, Guestbook, TripAdvisor, Expedia, WordPress, etc.).

    Assist in monitoring and controlling annual marketing budget to meet and exceed overall Hotel goals.

    Oversee organic social media contact and responses for properties.

    Evaluates competitor positioning in the market to identify points of differentiation for use in creative and content across marketing channels.

    Helps manage brand identity assets including brand standards and visual identity.

    Perform any assigned task not outlined above that the associate has the ability to perform.

    Qualifications:

    Associate Degree required, or Bachelor's degree preferred.

    Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in hospitality industry (in a hotel, hotel chain, management company, hospitality agency or travel organization).

    Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

    Google Ads Certified, preferred. This includes understanding the different digital channels which Google can place ads.

    Travel/Time Commitment

    This position will require a travel commitment to travel by airplane, automobile, etc., throughout the country to the various hotel locations as may be required on a regular, as needed basis, in the sole discretion of the Company, on behalf of itself and any affiliated companies, parties, etc., it may represent. A commitment is required to attend weekly hotel meetings as scheduled by the Corporate Executive Team.
