3+ years of IT background or schooling.

This position is for an experienced WiFi survey technician. The ideal candidate will have experience with Ekahau Site Survey Pro, Ekahau Side Kicks, APoS test procedures and other related items.

Ability to pass a background check for work in schools and other clients a must.

The ability to travel in North America for mutiday trips several times a month is a must.

Must be reliable and on-time.

Must own your own transportation.

Requirements:

3+ Years in survey, design, staging and configuration of enterprise grade WiFi Equipment.

Experience with Ruckus, Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Cambium Networks, and other Enterprise Grade manufacturers is a big plus.

Strong Experience in WiFi and not Cellular preferred. Cellular experience is ok but must have large portion of experience in WiFi as well.

Surveys - Experience with AirMagnet and/or Ekahau surveys including designs factoring in attenuation, caused by interference sources and obstructions.

Strong understanding of WiFi standards, RF behaviors and concepts. At least a basic understanding of basic networking such as DHCP, 802.1x Radius, authentication types, guest networking, BYOD, vlans etc. CWNA, CCNA, and other comparable certifications a plus.

Willing to train the right candidate in areas they are in need, but applicants must have some experience.

The ability to use hand tools, pull cable, learn on the job, work on ladders and lifts etc.

Job Location: Philadelphia, PA Metropolitan Area but travel throughout North America

Salary will be negotiated and based on experience.
