Responsibilities: • Conduct regular inspections of pivot irrigation systems to identify and address any issues or malfunctions. • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, filter replacement, and alignment adjustments to ensure optimal system performance. • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems, and implement appropriate repairs. • Assist in the installation of new pivot irrigation systems, including assembly, wiring, and testing. • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate scheduling and prioritize tasks effectively. • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory levels. • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred. • Prior experience in pivot irrigation system maintenance, repair, or installation. • Proficiency in reading electrical and hydraulic schematics. • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills. • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and occasionally on weekends or evenings. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Compensation: $21.50 to start
