Responsibilities: • Conduct inspections on pivot irrigation systems regularly to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions promptly. • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter replacements, and alignment adjustments, to ensure the pivot irrigation systems operate optimally. • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems efficiently and carry out necessary repairs. • Assist in the setup of new pivot irrigation systems by handling assembly, wiring, and testing procedures. • Collaborate effectively with team members to organize schedules and prioritize tasks for maximum efficiency. • Maintain accurate records documenting maintenance activities, repairs conducted, and inventory levels. • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment. Qualifications: • A High school diploma or equivalent is required, with additional technical training or certifications being preferred. • Previous experience in maintenance, repair, or installation of pivot irrigation systems is essential. • Proficiency in interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics is a must. • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required for this role. • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills, is necessary. • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and occasionally on weekends or evenings, is expected. • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a requirement for this position.
